Christophe Bouchut drove the team's Dodge Viper at Silverstone as part of the equalisation process. Over two stints Christophe put the car, which was still setup as it arrived from Dodge, within 0.5 seconds of the fastest GT car of the day. The data trace and validation of the cars capability against the competition has encouraged the team significantly that they can quickly be on the pace with the best GT teams in the UK.
The team and the regular drivers also gained considerable experience of running the brand new car alongside the competition. Now that the car has been successfully run a number of days testing are to be undertaken to find a suitable base setup. Regular drivers Mike Gardiner and Paul Fenton will continue to use these sessions to familiarise themselves with the car and get up to pace before the first round at Oulton Park on Easter weekend. This will be the first real test of all the cars pace on Avon tyres and a further development program will be assessed after Oulton.
