With regular driver Mike Gardiner injured from an unrelated motoring incident the regular drivers decided to sit out the last round of the 2007 championship. Regular Caterham racers Clyve Richard and Glen Denny took the opportunity to have their first experience at the British GT level.
The drivers handled the transition from lightweight caterhams to heavy powerful GT cars very well considering their time available to test. Qualifying led to 16th and 17th ahead of some of the full season competitors. In the two races the car finished in 15th and 16th places fulfilling the drivers ambitions to bring the car home in one piece and gain experience.
