It was victory for Mike Gardiner and Paul Fenton as they won the Class 3 race in Saturday's Britcar event at Brands Hatch in their Moore Racing-prepared BMW M3. As the chequered flag marked the end of the 100 minute race, they took ninth place in the race overall and a class win almost two laps ahead of the second placed car.
Rod Barrett and Jan Persson, in their first race in the Britcar series, took third place in the class in their Moore Racing-supported Hawthorn's BMW Z3.
On the Sunday it was up to Rod and Jan to keep the Moore Racing flag flying, as Mike and Paul's car developed an oil problem a few laps into the race. Rod and Jan went on to take a respectable fourth in class.
