The changing conditions at a wet and cold Silverstone played well to the team's strengths of adjusting car setup to suit the conditions. In the first Production S1 race Mike Gardiner drove the BMW M3 3.0 faultlessly to secure a comfortable victory in the dry. Later in the day with the temperature dropping quickly, last minute setup changes enabled Mike to cruise to a 66 second victory. With darkness drawing in the team's BMW was already on its way to the truck before the competition reached parc ferme.
In between, in challenging conditions in the main Britcar race Gary Coulson and debutant Hubert Hinklehoffer drove steadily avoiding the much faster GT cars in their Honda Civic Type R. A single stop to change drivers was executed faultlessly. Both Hubert and Gary gained in pace, confidence and experience as the race wore on meeting their objective of finishing with the car intact.
