Race Result: 1st in Class and 8th Overall

The SPEED series 3 hour race at Brands Hatch GP was the first 2010 outing for the Mosler MT900R driven by car owner Dave Shelton, Paul O'Neill and Phil Quaife. Paul and Phil taking a break from BTCC and GT2 respectively to drive the Mosler. Qualifying passed without incident, with the short session only allowing each driver a few installation laps only to familiarise them with the rebuilt car.

During the race car owner Dave Shelton took the first stint of over an hour in hot dry conditions. At the hour point the car made its first scheduled stop for fuel and a driver change. Paul took the car through to a safety car intervention at the 90 minute spot, the team taking the opportunity to refuel and place Phil Quaife in the car. Phil put in a steady stint to the 2 1/2 hour mark when Paul took over to the flag.

With the competition falling by the wayside the car came home a comfortable 8th overall and 1st in class. Much more competition is expected at the forthcoming Belcar round.
