Qualifying: 35th Overall and 13th in class

After a lengthy layoff Christoher Shelton (Schelton in Flemish) returned to racing in the Moore Racing Civic Type-R. Against far more modified touring cars Christopher qualified the car cautiously 13th in class. A lack of testing on the Friday meant that the youngster ony had one warm-up session before the qualifying session.

Christopher picked his was steadily through the first of the 90 minute races to finish a very respectable 8th in class and 27th overall. Lap times improved steadily from the qualifying to race sessions as his experience of the track increased.

In the second race Christopher finished a solid 24th overall and 9th in class. To register a steady start to a long season that includes a 24-hour and 12-hour race.
