Silverstone 24 Hour 8-10/09/06 - Moore Racing at Silverstone 24 Hour
Having entered the inaugral Silverstone 24 hour with the teams BMW M3, we returned in 2006 with the BMW and Honda Civic Type-R with the objective of getting two cars to the finish. The BMW M3 enjoyed a strong start to the race and had reached the class lead and 6th Overall at the 6 hour mark.

With a car that had been a road car only six weeks before, expectation management was the order of the day. The one full test day of running for drivers Mike Gardiner and Paul Fenton had been washed out so there was not time to set the car up for the race weekend, which consisted of a 1 hour race on Saturday and a 2 hour race on Sunday. Moore Racing at Oulton Park 08/04/06 - Moore Racing at Oulton Park
After biding his time in the first few laps Mike Gardiner skillfully took the lead in the Production S1 race at Oulton Park. With the track drying and a driver change required Mike handed the lead over to Paul Fenton. Unfortunately upon leaving the pits cold tyres caused the car to rotate into the barrier and roll three times ending the race for the car. The extremely strong construction of the M3, as built by Moore Racing, ensured that Paul walked away with only bruises.
The Honda Civic Type R driven by Gary Coulson and Dave Reynolds finished in ninth position in the Production S1 race, following consistent driving, a slick driver change and ever improving times on the drying track. More...


First Place at Silverstone 25/02/06 - First Place at Silverstone, Production S1
Moore Racing's BMW M3, driven by Mike Gardiner and Paul Fenton took first place in the first race of the season for Production S1. Having taken the lead on the first lap Mike was never headed until the pitstop. Paul took over with a significant advantage from the fast charging pack of other M3s. At the 2006 Autosport show at the Birmingham NEC, Moore Racing was proud to introduce their professionally built Honda Civic Type-R. The car is expected to be competitive in Britcar/PS1 Class 3 and the team has high hopes of a significant number of podium finishes and above. With Gary Coulson already confirmed for the complete season at the UK's most prestigious circuits and visits to Spa and Zolder confirmed, the team has seen significant interest in the remaining seat.
