At the invite of SEMSEC the team headed down to Lydden Hill under the gathering storm clouds with the prospect of running five cars in three races each in a single day. The morning was fine with qualifying running smoothly, even for the drivers who had not seen the circuit before. Just before lunch the grid was formed for the invitational saloons race.

On 17th April 2004 six Moore Racing TVR's entered the first race of the season at Pembrey. Although the weekend saw an early retirment for Gary Coulson through testing crash damage, the remaining cars came home in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place in both races.

03/04/04 - Britcar Race at Brands Hatch Grand Prix
On 3rd April 2004 Moore Racing completed their second Britcar race with an E36 M3. With Andre Tautz and Paul Fenton sharing driving duties. Friday testing delivered well matched times that were competitive with the front running Class 2 cars. The race was to deliver different results.

20/03/04 - EERC Britcar Race at Silverstone
On 20 March 2004 Moore Racing completed their first Britcar race in an E36 M3. With Jonathan Berney and Paul Fenton putting in an hour each at the wheel, a wets-to-slicks tyre change, 10 second stop-go penalty and a need to conserve fuel in the final laps the car finished a respectable 19th out of the line up of 33 cars. Matching the pace of the majority of the other M3's on the first outing for the car.

The TVR Tasmins were out for their first test of the season over the last weekend in February. The sun was shining on the snowy mountains of Snowdonia, and the new turbo Tasmins were throwing flames as they got to grips with the circuit.
